Information you provide

If you choose to join the leaderboard, you may provide a username and email address. The email address is used for passwordless sign-in and verification and is not shown on the public leaderboard. Your username and daily score may be displayed publicly.

Game and browser data

SizeDex stores some game progress, preferences, statistics, cached Pokémon data, and challenge state in your browser using local storage. This helps the Daily Challenge, practice mode, theme choice, streaks, and other game features work between visits. Browser-local data remains on your device until you clear browser storage or the game replaces it.

Analytics

SizeDex uses Google Analytics to understand traffic and how players use the game, such as page views, challenge starts, round completions, shares, theme changes, and leaderboard activity. Google may collect device, browser, approximate location, referral, and interaction information according to its own policies.

Advertising

SizeDex may use Google AdSense to display advertising. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies to serve, measure, and personalize ads where permitted. Users in regions that require consent may be shown a consent message before certain advertising technologies are used.

Authentication and database services

SizeDex uses Supabase for authentication and leaderboard storage. When you use the leaderboard, Supabase may process account identifiers, email verification status, usernames, scores, timestamps, and related technical information needed to operate those features.

Email delivery

Transactional sign-in or verification emails may be delivered through an email delivery provider such as Resend. These providers process the information needed to send the requested message.

Cookies and consent choices

Where required, SizeDex uses Google's consent management platform so you can choose whether to consent to advertising-related processing, decline consent, or manage your options. You can revisit those choices using the privacy controls made available by the consent message.

Data retention

Leaderboard account and score data may be retained while the service is operating unless it is no longer needed or is removed as part of account or service maintenance. Browser-local game data remains on your device until you clear browser storage or the game replaces it.

Children

SizeDex is a general-audience fan game and is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If a privacy contact method is published on the site, it can be used to raise a concern about information submitted through the leaderboard.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as SizeDex changes, including when new analytics, advertising, account, or game features are added. The updated date above will be revised when material changes are made.
